MRP - Material needs - Fields to set advance supplier deliveries

Hi all,

I need to use MRP for material shopping purposes and I would like to know which fields and transactions I should to use for calculating delivery date of suppliers material needs.

When we've fixed our manufacturing schedul, for each material (delivered by an external supplier) we need that MRP calculate these dates:

• Pick up date --> When we pick up material needs in the supplier plant.
• Delivery date --> When we receive material needs in our plant.

Hi Caetano

I've set my schedule agreement with:

• Pl.deliv. Time = 2 days
• GR Proc. Time = 0 days

I've launch MD01 with these parameters:

And in material proposals orders  "Pl. deliv. Time" (2 days) isn't used.

Please, could you say me why?

Hello

Try again setting the planned delivery time on the material master.

The planned delivery time of the scheduling agreement is only used if it is considered by the MRP source determination, that means, if there is a valid source list pointing to this agreement (see point 1 of document ).

In addition, the setting "Scheduling: Info rec/Agreement" must be checked on transaction OPPQ (section external procurement).

Hello,

I've configured "Pl. Deliv. Time" in these levels:

• Material Master (MM03).

    

• Info record (ME13).

    

• Scheduling agreement (ME33l)

    

• OPPQ.

    

But when MRP calculate Delivery Schedules not use these values to advance pick up date.

We're trying to configure MRP like this scenary:

• For example, I've to delivery 1.000 parts material 123456 to my client CLIENT_A on 17 of September.
• For each unit of 123456 material I'll need these amount of components:
  • 2 parts of material 23456
• I buy this component to this external supplier: SUPPLIER_A. I pick up materials in the supplier plant and bring them my plant.
• I want to receive goods 2 days before the  client pick up date (15 of September) because I'll manufacture 1.000 parts one day before client pick up (16 of September).
• I've to pick up materials at the supplier plant 2 days before (13 of September) the delivery date in my plant . Because we spent 2 days to transport goods from supplier plant and mine.
• The result of the MRP should be:
  • Insert in the Scheduling agreement one Delivery Schedule on 13 of September with 2.000 parts.

How Can I configure SAP to do this? I'll be pelased to know any document, web, training, etc. about MRP configuration.

I don't know if I've explained well if not please tell me.
