CCLM configuration for SP12

Hi All,

While configured solman 7.1  CCLM  ( SP12)   SM_CCL: QUALITY_<SID>_<installation number>: job are getting failed due to. No data found in custom code info cube  0SM_ATC  after that we have raised OSS message to SAP & got reply from to configured ATC.

Please suggest it is possible can we skip ATC configured step in CCLM if yes what is impact.

Also  please suggest which system is recommended  on ECC side to add on  CCLM  i.e DEV , QA & PRD

Hi Amol,

We must not skip ATC step.

ATC must be running on the managed system to get the quality data into CCLM.  This means the new and strategic ATC tool must be implemented in the respective system for all new CCLM installations from Solman 7.1 SP11 onwards.

All the three ECC systems i.e. DEV, QAS, PRD need to be added for CCLM use.  And DEV should be marked as Lead system.

Thanks for your reply.

As per suggest by SAP ATC configuration http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-32791

It will show ATC on QA as a MASTER, and DEV as a Development. Where does Production need to configured.

Hi Amol, You need to define the landscape and client in step 4 and 5 of Custom code management Wizard. Hi ,

As per your note http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-32791 we are having few
question please advise.

1) In our landscape we have only one DEV-QA-PRD & QA will be refreshing
every 6 months.so please suggest where we will set ATC  master is QA
system idle?

On same note for discussion bellow we found that.
--------------------------------
For a landscape like

DEV -> QAL (reset regularly) -> PRD

I would choose the following setup

DEV - developer check runs, transport check runs, master system

QAL - mass runs that get replicated to DEV

what is DEV & QA role meaning ?

Please advise.
