Mass update of customized fields related to purchase order

Hello,

In purchase order customer data tab, we added some Z-fields.

In MASS transaction these customized fields are displaying.

But when i tried to chage the customized fields in MASS transaction, it is not updating in the database.

Is it possible to update the customized fields in through MASS transaction ?

If YES, Please let me know the process of updating.
