BRTools backup offline in external drive

I want to take BRtools backup offline in external hard drive for oracle.

what is the extact procedure..

Hello Indranil,

Please try these steps,

Connect in your external harddisk. Check the drive name, create the folder inside the external drive called sapbackup.If drive name is X you would get like below.

X:\sapbackup

Maintain values in initSID .sap in the path

ORACLE_HOME\dbs\initSID.sap

backup_dev_type = disk

backup_type = online \Offline(Which ever is required)

backup_root_dir =X:\sapbackup
