Authorizations: Restrict customer creation

We want to restrict the creation of customers for certain business roles. But the users should still be able to change existing customers.

Creating a page layout we can make the button "new" in work center "customer" invisible. But this is not possible for the respective quick create "new customer". Here we can only make the quick create fields invisible or read only, which would be a sufficent workaround to disable customer creation. The only problem is, that the field "name" is always mandatory (this cannot be changed) and therefore cannot be set to invisible or read only. Therefore it would still be possible for the user to create a new customer.

Hi,

you can set the business action "create_customer" to disabled for the corresponding business role to remove the customer creation authorization.
