Automate job monitoring

Hi Experts,

We have some daily jobs that run in production. We as BASIS team , need to monitor them and report their completion time/failure to responsible groups. Is there a way in SOLMAN (or any other way) that we can automate the monitoring of these jobs and/or send mail to reponsible groups?

All we need is to trigger mails to other groups about job completion or failure.

Any suggestions wil be appreciated.

I think this is what you were looking for..

Else, you can also use CCMS for this purpose.

RZ20 -> SAP CCMS Monitor Templates -> Background Processing -> System Wide -> Background -> Background Job Monitoring -> (background job name)
