Hi All,
Please find the attached business problem and kindly give your ideas.
US Client is in computer hardware and in institutional sales. Product line consists of Laptop, desktop, printer etc. The existing process they are using as follows:
Existing process:
Business Requirement
We understand that it can be achieved through programmatic changes as required. Having said that, we also need to keep in mind that ZQ00 is a manual condition type so far.
Any idea how we can achieve that requirement is appreciated.
Thanks
AB
Hi Arindam,
Why dont you paste the screen shot of your pricing procedure and the condition tab from the sales order header, so that we understand it better and suggest some solution...

Dear Arindam,
Can you please re explain the process by taking example in numbers, you can achieve this by standard pricing configuration only.
Thanks.

Hi All,
Thanks for reviewing the problem. Please find the attached numerical example for the reference.
Qty : 100 pc
Net Price : 1500 USD
Condition type : Value/ Amount : Remarks
Problem : If a new line item needs to add or quantity need to change of any line items then user needs to delete the ZQ00 condition type first because otherwise it will calculate the value wrongly. Then add again ZQ00 after adding the line item. In this case user has to follow the same steps i.e. copy from step no. 100 as Sum of Disc ( Subtotal G) and paste the value to ZQ00.
Requirement : Business needs to automate this ZQ00 addition/ deletion process. So that if user puts the value from sl no. 1 to 4 ( ZQA1 to ZQA4) manually then ZQ00 value should come automatically. No user interfirence should be required for ZQ00 calculation. please keep in mind that ZQ00 is Header condition with Statistical type.
Appreciate your time.
Dear Arindam,
What I understood is: condition type ZQA1, ZQA2, ZQA3, ZQA4 is different pricing component in you calculation and you need to pass the entries calculation in ZQ00.
Why you are not passing the value of step 100 in ZQ00 and make that condition non editable.
Ideally the pricing procedure should be
Basically you need to play with different combination of condition type to reach to you final calculation. Try to minimize the manual input option.
Thanks

Hi Sumeet,
I really appreciate your reply ! Can you please explain how you want to pass the value from step 100 to ZQ00.....
And to reply your next advise, I think, manual input for 4 condition type from ZQ01 to ZQ04 can't be minimized as it always requires business inputs for discount based on every orders.
on a same note as mentioned before, ZQ00 is a important condition type from FI perspective as it doing the re-spreading of discounts to the appropriate GL account.
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
Thanks for the reply. That's the existing set up we already have in the system. But having that, user need to copy the value from step no. 100 and also need to put the value to step no. 110. Hence as header condition type ZQ00, the value get distributed proportionately. ZQ00 also marked as Manual in pricing procedure.
Now, solution is required by business as follows :
1. ZQ00 need to be automated . Here automation means by business is user need not to touch the condition type ZQ00. It will automatecitally fetch the value from step 100 ( Subtotal). I think its not possible through standard SAP as ZQ00 is a header condition.
Also manual insertion of condition type ZQ00 is at least required ( apart from Value part). If you have any different idea please let me know.
Thanks
AB
Have you tried to put From to To field by combing all four conditions in pricing procedure
