Hi Experts,
I just joined the forum, and this is my first query. During server administration, i had to restart the cluster but the sap instance is not getting started . I am getting the below messages from /var/log/messages after issuing the command crm resource start inst_sap_bp8_ASCS41

Could you please advise me on this
Thanks and Regards,

I went through your mail in morning.. and viewed the sapstart.log and then some files like stderr1, message in this file showed that the message server was not starting , so then I checked for the ports and got the issue.. However thanks a bunch for your reply..I am a server admin and don't have much knowledge about sap databases...

Thanks for replying to my post, the issue got resolved, there was some sap port wrongly entered in /etc/services . After correcting the same I restarted the cluster and now both the sap instances are running.
Sorry for the late reply....
