How to perform a silent installation of PA 2.2?

I need to perform a silent installation of desktop version Predictive Analytics 2.2 64bits.

However, the installation guide doesn't provide any detail on how to manage the license.cfg file. I don't want the users to manage any keycode file.

When performing setup.exe -w response.ini, this is what I get:

I am currently working with engineering teams to get more details on this one.

I expect this will be taking a bit of time.

In the meantime, I would recommend that you log a support ticket so that we can track the ask.

I am just wondering if you could shed clarity on why you want to perform a desktop installation instead of a client/server one.

I am assuming this might be due to the fact that Expert Analytics is only available in the desktop package and you want to provide this to your users.

Will your users use both Automated & Expert Analytic components?

Hi Nadim,

Here is the current situation as I understand it.

It is possible to perform a silent installation of SAP Predictive Analytics desktop 2.2. The way to do this is detailed in the Desktop Installation Guide here: https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/012002523100009343372015E/pa22_install_en.pdf, section 3.3.

It is not possible at the moment to pass the key code to the silent installation script so that the licence is also installed silently. Engineering has been made aware of this question.
