PCR for Voluntary income tax

0 Kudos

Hi gurus,

I found a PCR in one of my implementation for calculating voluntary income tax for india payroll.

Few lines of pcr appears as given below:

ZTAX

    *

      91TX

         AMT?10

           =

               ELIMI *

               AMT=0

               AMT -S /460

               ADDWT /460

               AMT=*

               AMT -S /4MT

               ADDWT /4MT

               ---

               --

I want to know, what is the meaning of ADDWT -S /4MT. I am understanding the balance lines.

Please throw some light on this.

thanking you.

regards,

Raj.

Hi Raj,

Operation AMT- S/4MT means subtract the amuont from Wage type /4MT but the final outcome of this subtraction will be 0 or more but it cannot be negative or less than zero.

Hope this will help you.

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

I think this example may help you,

AMT-R 9019Amt for the current wage type less the value held in the RT for 9019 (Results wage types using exact splits)
AMTS /564Subtraction to zero - the value cannot be less than zero.
AMTS*Subtraction to 0 (not negative) for the current wage type
AMTS* 9013Subtraction to 0 (not negative). Current wage type less 9013
AMTSE 9043Subtraction to 0 (not negative). Current wage type less Amt held in the RT for wage type 9043
