Search Connectors for MM app's

Dear Expert's,

I am trying to configure 'Material' Fiori app and i have both Front-End / Back-End services active.

But, when i try to create search connector, i am not able to fine the corresponding search model 'MATERIAL_H' as shown in screenshot.

Which component should be checked to see, if we are on the right upgraded version ? We have both Front/Back-End component's installed in the same system.

Gaurav, What is the version of component SAP_APPL? It has to be 617 as per docu.

SAP_APPL version is 617 and SP 0003. Please find the screenshot attached.

Chris,

Our main intention was to bring other app's like PM and QM into Fiori, but later we came to know that, they require HANA. So, didn't try to implement these.

Hi Gaurav,

In the backend system, you have to activate the search connector. Then only it should be visible.

Search Connector

The following search connectors need to be activated in the back-end system:

Search Component (Software Component)	Application Component	Search Model
SAPAPPLH	LO-MD-MM	MATERIAL_H

Have you implemented all mandatory notes ?

1940026	Improvement of the annotation file for the material fact sheet
1958766	Modification of the Enterprise search model Material_H
1980094	Fiori: Rename Search Model MATKL in SAPAPPLH
