Hello Gurus,
What is the relevency of the fileld maintained in the resources as (cheak mark) Not-SNP-Rel. While maintaining the resources in SNP. Or it will be maintained for single-mixed resources only and not for multimixed.
Full points for answer
Please Help.....
Thank You,
Amol Chavan

the relevance of this checkbox is when you generate SNP PPMs from PPDS ppms (check the help on SNP PPM generation)
SNP PPMS are created only if this box is unchecked for the resource in the PPDS PPM that is to be converted. if you check this box there would be no SNP PPM generated automatically
(they are typically mixed resources if used in the SNP PPM generation)

Hello Harish/Ian/Patrick,
Thank you for your responce.
In our scenario we are maintainig 4 capacity categories in R/3 of which one is maintained for scheduling in capacity header and for rest capacity categories they have maintained as relevant for finite scheduling, and can be used by several operations for all cap. categories. Which r CIF ed to APO and showing relevant for Finite Sch. as in R/3. But here in APO they have not cheaked the cheak box for not SNP rel. In that case how system will or will not plan on these resources.
We are not using CDP.
Please brife about SNP PPM generation and this cheak box relation.
Thank You,
Amol Chavan.
you should not be worried if the "Not SNP Rel." is not checked.
for SNP to PPDS PPM generation read this help please:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/9f/56ba3bd14a6a6ae10000000a114084/content.htm
Also, as per its name, it indicates that you willl not plan this resource in SNP : you will no longer be able to see this resource when selecting resources in a SNP Planning book

It is relevant for both single-mixed and multi-mixed resources. Essentially it is used if you want to employ bucket-based block planning in PP/DS. If you check this then you can do block planning else if not checked the bucket is available to SNP for it's planning.
Hope this helps.
