Hi,

Can anyone let me know the Open Text Archiving 10.1 Installation, Upgrade and Configuration(to ECC/ERP) guides.

I need to install the OT Archiving server 10.1 installation and then upgrade to 10.5.

Atleast I need the document names to get the guides from OpenText site.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Prasad

Hello Prasad,

https://login.opentext.com/

register to OpenText. You get than access to their knowledge center.

There you find the list of products (A-Z).

The archive server should run under the name/label "Enterprise Library".

There you find than under "Documentation" all what you need for the installation.

Best regards

Hi Prasad,

this will provide to many results, as every topic is opentext and archive ...

When you limit it to the product name (archive server is part of Enterprise Library), you find quicker the documents you are looking for ...

Hi Carlos,

I need some clarification on the following as well:

We have oracle database on RAC cluster, and Open Text Archive server 10.1 on a separate linux host.

Requirement:

-> Now we are setting up new box with Open Text Archive server 10.1. and connect to existing Oracle RAC

--> Is it possible at first instance? if yes,

   1. During installation of Archive server 10.1, do I need to select  "Y" to create schema or "N".

1.1 If Y- will it create new schema in Oracle Database? and what it creates in Archive Server?

1.2 If N- will it create only script? but what is does?

   2. Same Oracle db port "1521" needs to be used for connecting to existing database?

   3. Do I need to install oracle client if, Oracle database is in another host?

Kindly add any other inputs if I may forget.

Best Regards,

Prasad Mane
