Using Long Term Interactions/ Transaction in ADT Segmentation

Hi all,

We are trying to load data in this table CUAND_CE_IA_RT from SAP CRM and our scenario for deployment is D ( same database for yMKT and SAP CRM ).

Profile - All Contacts SCI - For Contacts , the full load reports works fine however same report is not loading data in interactions table CUAND_CE_IA_RT and hence no data is available in Contact Segmentation profile for Interactions.Please suggest if apart from doing initial set up is there any other step we may have missed.We have completed Interaction setting in SPRO.

Profile All CRM Customers - Similarly , we are trying to use opportunities in SAP_CRM_CUSTOMER segmentation object to segment customers in CRM Customer segmentation profile.Data from standard CRM tables is readily available during segmentation, however when we try to segment customers based on Oportunity type , Opportunity type value helo shows error with no data available in Process Type Field.If CRM and yMKT are sharing the db then standard attributes views and the data associated should be readily available for segmentation.

Please suggest what can be the possible issues with our set up?

All contacts Segmentation:

Yes, the report will not load "CRM" transactional data into interactions table.  From design perspective, we only want to load "short term" interactions such as "check in" events into interaction model and maintain long term interactions in the individual tables but virtually bring them together using HANA views.   For more information, please read:

For example,  "All contacts" segmentation profile, it should show "ERP transactions" as well because it uses a HANA view " sap.hana-app.cuan.contact/CA_C_CONTACT_IA_ERP_CUSTOMER"  that combines transactional data(virtually) from interaction, ERP tables.  The way I found the HANA view is back tracking from the "All contacts"  segmentation object in SPRO and all the way to data source alias.

Profile all CRM customers:

Is opp type is the only issue?  can you atleast see the no of CRM customers in segmentation screen when you open it in the UI.  If nothing is working, I suspect the client mapping is NOT done.  As data from SAP ERP and SAP CRM can belong to a different client than the contact data in hybris Marketing, the client mapping needs to be implemented. Hybris Marketing delivers the customizing table CUANC_CLNTMAP.  For more info, please read the section 3.1.2 from the above guide.

Hi Bharath,

All Contacts Segmentation  - How can we load a subset of CRM transactions ( which are in fact short term like a lead or a campaign )  in Interactions section in Attributes and segment based on Interaction Type loaded from CRM like a lead or a campaign run recently.

When you say virtually bring them for segmentation using HANA views , do we need to create custom attribute view and link it to the contact view.And will this approach help us load data in CUAND_CE_IA_RT or will the data be only accessible directly from SAP CRM database.

How is this segmentation then different then ALL CRM customers segmentation profile with respect to CRM transactions?

All CRM Customers - Yes , customers are available on yMKT segmentation and we are able to perform segmentation on basis of customers but when we go to Opportunity section , it shows no values in transaction type or any attribute value help.
