S4 HANA - Simple Finance Predictive Analytic and Simulations

Hi all

In almost all the presentations based on Simple Finance (S4 HANA SFin), Predictive Analytics and Simulations is highlighted as an advantage.

I was exploring the HANA DB in the backend of a Simple Finance S4HANA system and didn't find any PAL/AFL procedures generated !!

So does it mean that the S4 HANA Simple Finance just creates a simplified platform to create custom Predictive Analytics Application?

or is there some predictive capabilities provided out of the box with a standard S4 SFin installation?

Hi, which "predictive capabilities" I could observe up to now

1. On-line update of plan values in FI-AA, means you save asset master data and planned values updates table FAAT_PLAN_VALUES.

2. On-line updates of overhead calculation - you post to cost center which should be credited in tcode KSI4 during period closing, and this cost center credited during posting(means KSI4 procedure runs during posting).

3. you post goods issue, and COGs spitted wise costing sheet, and this values flow to CO-PA and accounting.
