what is cusotmer pricing procedure?

is it required to mention inorder to propose the pricing condition type?

Hi Ganesh,

This is basically provided to give more flexibility to pricing in SAP. For each customer based on different criteria you can maintain different prices. All others have explained youalready what is CPP

Hi,

customer pricing procedure in customer master we generally use for , if there r many kinds of customer a company is having like whole salers, retailers, directcustomer etc. r in different sales areas ,u can maintain customer specific pricing using relevent condition types in pricing procedure so that u can eliminate unnecessary condition types.And also u need not to define different types of order types for them for pricing determination.U can use the same sales order for different customers for sales transaction if u maintain different pricing procedure indicator for different customers.I hope u know the pricing procedure determination customizing.

A pricing procedure is nothing but determination rule for pricing based on cust master record, sales doc and sales area. A customer prcing procedure is the defined in Tcode: OVKP

Customer pricing Procedure is used to determine Pricing procedure.

The more Cupp you have the more combinations of pricing procedures you can use.

Hi,

Pricing procedure is determined in order as per following determination,

Sales org/Distribution channel/Division/Customer pricing procedure/Document Pricing procedure

Check Tcode OVKK

So it is mandatory to maintain Customer pricing procedure in customer master,without which determination will not take place and hence you will not get pricing in order.

Customer pricing procedure: You create and maintain pricing procedures in Customizing for Sales and Distribution. During sales order processing the pricing procedure determines the kinds of pricing element you can use and in which sequence they are processed.
