Hi Pratyasha,

One more way to get this resolved is to create the local copy of the standard HANA View. In this case, the call from the ABAP stack is diverted to your local copy created, inspite of the standard HANA view call.WIth this methodology you will not have to change any IMG settings .

Let me know if you need the details of how to do it.

Hi Pratyasha,

First of all, you have to figure out the HANA data source that is assigned to your segmentation object. You can do that by going to SPRO --> Audience Discovery Targeting --> Segmentation --> Assign SAP HANA data sources to Segmentation Objects.

Once you have HANA data source, you will know the HANA view(Data Source Location) that is associated with it.

Follow the path of HANA view(Data Source Location) by logging via HANA studio, click edit and rename the labels of the fields in the HANA view.  The changes you make should automatically will be reflected to the end user.  If not, go to "Assign SAP HANA data sources to Segmentation Objects" config step in SPRO and refresh it(click on sync button).

Thanks

Hi Bharath,

We tried the same as suggested by you in the above response.

Field label changed on HANA studio

Did the sync up and refresh for Hybris marketing using SPRO.

Launched Hybris marketing page again but the field label is not changed.

It still shows the label as Business Partner Type

Please advise

Pratyasha,

I agree with you...I am facing the same issue.  For some reason, the changes to the labels is not being saved with in the calc view OR something is overwriting the label changes.

Recommended approach is to copy the standard HANA view into your own package, then use it in segementation.  If you do this, the approach I mentioned regarding the "renaming of labels" should work.

Thanks

Hi Pratyasha,

Can you try clearing the cache once in the browser ?

Hi Nidhi,

It hasn't worked even after clearing the cache.

Agreed.  The issue is nothing to do with Cache.  The HANA view changes are not being saved at HANA studio level itself.  You can save HANA view with your changes, close it and re-open it--> your changes won't be visible.

Pratyasha, have you tried copying the HANA view into your own package then make necessary changes, create a new HANA data source IMG and use it your segmentation profile.  This for sure works...

Thanks
