Getting Message QS178 , You cannot use entries from catalogs 1 and 3

Dear Sir,

We are using QS21 for creating MIC and during this getting error "You cannot use entries from catalogs 1 and 3" .

We searched on sdn and referred the sdn link  

As per this link , click on Control Indicator and then tick check box of Charct Attribute (pl see the attached image) .  But I could not find any such field under tab Type .

I request experts , to kindly help me for resolving the reported issue pl .

You are an old member to SCN (since 2006). You should respond to replies and close the thread if you are done. Also, many of your threads are in open state (around 50) since as long as 3 years.

It is true for Qualitative Characteristics. See this picture.

Obviously, we can not use texts for Quantitative Characteristics
