No planned order creation in optimizer

Hi,

We have a requirement.

We do not want system to generate any planned order as part of Optimizer run.

What approach we can follow to achieve the same?

Hello Mohit,

Are you using SNP optimizer or PPDS optimizer?

In SNP optimizer if you dont want to create the planned orders then what is the purpose of your SNP optimization.

However in PPDS optimizer profile you have option as No order creation: Optimization only reschedules existing orders,

Hi Mohit,

If you're having valid PPM/PDS then you can try doing this.

Update the SNP Production Horizon -->Product Master-->SNP2 Tab--> Update the date as like the end of your planning date (30.12.2020 for example) so that the planned orders will not be created within this horizon.

Use Lot size settings --> Product Master / PDS-PPM --> Update Minimum Lotsize value to max value which your production capacity will not match. Ex max capacity outcome is 100 pc then update the Min Lotsize as 10000 Pc.

If you dont have a valid PPM/PDS then try this

/Sapapo/mvm --> 0000 Active Version --> Check the check box "No Planned Order W/O Source of Supply.
