Lot size /minimum lot size/rounding value

Hi,

I have a query.

If I have maintained EX in lot size field & also maintained values in minimum lot size & rounding value, then which value will system consider while proposing procurement proposals?

For example:

Lot size     EX

Minimum lot size     50

Rounding value       40

If demand is for 30, then will system propose 30 or 40 or 50 qty?

In your case system will propose for 50.

Case1:

Lot Size: EX

Minimum lot Size: 50

Rounding Value: 40

Requirement : 30

MRP will Propose 50

Case 2:

Lot Size: EX

Minimum lot Size: 00

Rounding Value: 40

Requirement : 30

MRP will propose 40.

Case 3:

Lot Size: EX

Minimum lot Size: 00

Rounding Value: 00

Requirement : 30

MRP will propose 30.

in this case minimum lot size is 50.
