Invalid Parameter leng = 000000 for field DOCDATE

When I am trying to activate DB connect data source it is giving Invalid parameter leng. Could not find the parameter length please any once help me on this

1725175 - Invalid lenght for fields in datasource

     thanks for your quick reply.

My DOCDATE Field does not have length more then 10 and when i am trying to create new datasource with same table that is working fine but when i am trying to enhance Datasource then only it is giving this error. plz help me.

Hello Solai,

As you have mentioned DOCDATE length is not more than 10. still system response seems to be nagative. That is the reason why SAP is suggesting to apply patch through SAP note 1725175 - Invalid lenght for fields in datasource

There are various SAP notes mentioned in it. Please select according your SAP components and apply.

Even though there are couple of Manual steps which could be performed.

refer:-1683032 - Can not activate DS with fieldname longer than 16 char.
