Dear all,
In my production system following situation, a large number of processes busy with report from sapsys "<RPC(GENERATE ABAP (CLI WP <WP NUMBER>))>"
Tell me please, what is this report do? I canceled this processes, because there are no remaining processes for business users.
dear all,
i check system according your messages and that's what was:
1) Abaper transport request which contain include(that used by 4-5 standart tables) to prd system.
2) In this time starts background job RDDGEN0L
3) Next i see entries in the trace log from sm50:
***GENER* Trace switched off ***
*GENER* request remote generation: /1BCDWBEN/SAPLFEN0001.
Thu Jul 9 11:09:01 2015
*GENER* starting inline generation: /1BCDWBEN/SAPLFEN0001 (reason: no process available for remote generation).
*GENER* was already generated: /1BCDWBEN/SAPLFEN0001.
I do not know of one, why this process has taken away so much work processes?

Hi Albert,
Are you applying any patches or running SGEN ?
Check SM37 for job name:RSPARAGENER8 or RSPARAGENER8M, SM21, ST22 and ST11
DO you have sufficient space in database ?
Share dev_wX log file, X is the work process number on which you are seeing this running.

Hello Albert,
Can you please check Work processor trace from SM50 and DEV_DISP.
Looks like some job(ex:- SGEN )which is scheduled in forground would will occupy most of the work process and are being executed with sapsys).
Please check whether disp+work is working fine.
Please paste the trace file.
Regards
Anand

Albert,
Please go through SAP note :-
1088293 - ABAP programs are generated locally (not remotely)
As per the content in SAP note ..it refers to Kernel update.
Please check. I hope this resolves your issue.
Regards
Anand
