Hi,
I've seen jco examples in which they specify gwhost and gwserv besides the usual: ashost, user, passwd, etc. Nevertheless, there's other examples in which they don' specify this.
When are those two parameters necessary?
Hi Fernando,
they are actually not needed as long as zou don't have an exotic setup, in which you want to initiate the conneciton via a different gateway for connecting to a specific appserver and not the gateway belonging to the target appserver. Normally, it's not needed to provide the gateway parameters as implicitely, the JCo runtime will use the applcation server gateway settings.
Best regards,
Markus
