RA key missing on WBS billing element - need to cancel settlement

Good day,

I have the following scenario with a WBS in a project that needs to be closed:

• WBS element was created and released
• At some point the billing element indicator was unchecked and the RA key removed
• Some time later the billing element was checked again but the RA key was not added back in again
• Revenues were posted against the WBS from Resource Related Billing
• Cost and time posted to the activity assigned to the WBS was settled to the WBS
• All of the above happened in the previous fiscal year that has been closed

Problems:

• When trying to run settlement error message KD503 is generated indicating that a revenue Cost element needs to be added to the relevant allocation structure
  • This is not an option to update the allocation structure
  • Postings causing the issue from the previous closed fiscal year
• Due to settlement not being able to run there is still an outstanding balance on the WBS and it cannot be closed
• The RA Key can also not be updated as it requires settlement to first be cancelled
• With the RA key missing RA did not ran for this WBS

How can this problem be addressed?

Hello Williem,

As far as i know RA key is the perquisite for execute the Result Analyzer.

yes that is sure like RA key is not required for settlement. as system route cause This is not an option to update the allocation structure so that you have to do accordingly that is good resolution for the same.

but you have run the settlement process then there is nothing to do know the WIP by RA performance.

so do one think you to do posting or create deliver and invoice then perform RA once again system will allow to do.

please test it and let us know if any other issue occurred.
