MDG-M Mandatory fields do not match between MDG and MM01/MM02

Hi Experts,

We are getting some mandatory fields in MDG that are not mandatory in MM01/MM02

How can we solve this?

Hi

I assume the root cause is that the MDGM check / activation detects that sales data is maintained.

E.g. by maintaining a sales org specific datum, or by extending the entity MATERIAL with a field that case the "V" maintenance status in OMSR (table T130F). For more details on maintenance status handling, please check http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-53567.

Backend (MM01, MM02) defaults the weight unit hard-coded to 'KG' in such a case - you could implement a BRF+-Derivation to set the weight unit to KG or any other value to avoid this error.
