How to extract resule datafrom ECC Z query

Hi,

We all know we can copy the ECC tables and build up the model on HANA for analysis purpose. But if there's already Z query on ECC side to calculate something, is it possible to extract the result data directly from this Z program to HANA instead of rebuilding the whole logics on HANA?

If no, there is any work around to extract the result data directly from ECC Z program to BW side?

Hello Derek,

Its an interesting question, I think we cannot create I guess , correct me here because a z querie doesn't create any object at the db level to let us consume as a part of HANA model development.

I can suggest you to create a ticket under the below mentioned group :

scn.sap.com/community/abap/hana

You may get some answer.

Thanks for your input. I agree with you there is nothing stored on the db level on ECC side, so it looks impossible to achieve this.

I have post a new ticket in the abap/hana group as you suggested.
