Hi colleagues,
I'm experiencing some problems related to modeling AV:
see the pictures attached.
Do you have any idea what's wrong? Lang/locale? Other?
My HANA Studio version is 2.1.4
HANA db version is rev97
thank you & regards,
Blaž
Hi all,
the issues is solved.
I tested the behaviour at my colleagues HANA Studio with lower version and there it worked.
to sumarize:
Thank you all for you time and suggestions.

Blaž

I am getting the exact same behaviour and it's causing a problem because I can't filter this field correctly.
I have SAP Hana Studio version Version: 2.1.4
Might try downgrading tomorrow because I have spent hours trying to work this out to no avail!

Hello Blaz,
Hope while the base table has Decimal as the data type.
Though you may sound stupid about my suggestion - can you please try to close HANA Studio and open it again.
Regards,
Sharath

>I open the data preview for my view and all measures are of type "STRING"
Where do You see its a string ? Am I missing a jpg picture here ?
As far as I see, You defined a Count of Grossamounts per product
Can You share more details what are you trying to achieve ?

Check the picture 02_%, you'll se that the measures are defined properly and aggregation mode is set to SUM.
But when I go to the data preview, the measures "become" strings.See the picture attached.
In terms of what I want to achieve, it is very simple, I just want to create a simple analytical view with proper measures.

Blaž
I dont know, cant reproduce same issue (rev 95). I have more then a few similiar examples and every time decimal is propagated as Numerc not String.
I atteched few pictures, maybe something "ring a bell" and maybe you can find some typefeller or something.
I would try new AnalyView from scratch, it wouldnt be first time that something got mixed up.
For playing around, take a look at Learning Hubs HA300E examples. It does not use SHINE but similiar enough to use it for "How-to".
If something comes to mind how this could have happend, I'll get backu to you.
Maybe someone else will pick this up.
