Hello Kathrine,
Your question is on TREX not giving material results, but the screenshot you have put is for remote key search.
Unlike other Search Providers, remote key search doesn't perform search on the data matching the input criteria.
Remote key search gives us the ID of the object in MDG box for the data replicated into the target system. So, if you enter target system object details in the search criteria, it gives you the corresponding object in the MDG box.
If you are trying to get materials in MDG system matching the input criteria, after doing the configurations for TREX, then probably you are looking for Enterprise Search and if that is not working, we might have to check if the records got actually indexed or not in esh_cockpit and if not indexed, track the logs for the reason.
Or am I missing the actual question here?

Hi,
Please try this - Goto ESH_COCKPIT -> select Material Connector -> actions -> consistency check. Check if there are any error messages. If TREX connectivity or authorization error is present then contact your basis team. Check the same for MDG_Material as well.

Anuj
