Dear All,

We are using 6.1 sp05 version and implemented BP for customer and supplier in reuse mode. We are getting activation faliure of change request with following errors in validation log:

Activation of change request XXX (Description) will be executed

Error: Data of change request 000000000XXX cannot be activated

Error: Fax Number XXXXXX/XXXXXX/XXX no longer exists in reuse active area

Error: Fax Number XXXXXX/XXXXXX/XXX created in reuse active area

Error: Telephone Nummer XXXXXX/XXXXXX/XXX no longer exists in reuse active area

Error: Telephone Nummer XXXXXX/XXXXXX/XXX created in reuse active area

Change request XXX (Description) will not be activate

We have started getting this issue recently for every customer/vendor we try to change and which already have an existing telephone and fax number.

Any pointers to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tanmay,

Please check if these fields are getting updated in ECC through some diff process than MDG during CR creation and CR activation time-frame. You may need to check batch jobs / inbound interfaces which are also updating your master data.

Hi All,

Please let me know if anyone encountered error messages Message no. USMD1A202, Message no. USMD1A203 during change request processing. Which class and method they are called from.

Hi

Is Fax number or telephone number is exists in ECC for existing custimer/suppier.Values are dependent on country code as it requires specific format for each country. Does any software upgradation on target ECC happens recently?

Hi Sanjay,

Yes the issue occurs if we are trying to change a customer/supplier for which Telephone or Fax number already exist in ECC. If we are changing a customer/supplier which doesnt have this information or if we are adding telephone / fax number to such records then change request is activated sucessfully.

We are still trying to analyse what changes happen in the system during last few weeks.
