Is user-id for ECC and Fiori Launchpad  same?

Hi Reshma,

Yes Backend System ECC and Frontend System Fiori User ID is same but not required same password

Then you have to create RFC Connection in Frontend server with Trust relationship access

and user having S_RFCACL authorisation object access

From this rfc user can login to frontend system to backend system without password and fetch the dat

But this still means the user has to login to the frontend system with the username and password tied to the frontend system, correct? Is there a way to configure the NetWeaver Gateway system so that the user can login to Fiori Launchpad using their backend ECC credentials?

Hi Reshma,

Yes User-id should be same in both ECC and Fiori.
