printing russian characters

Hello,

I'm trying to export from SP01 to pdf(Spool Request -> Forward -> Export as PDF) a file generated from a sapscript that is written in Russian.

If I go and click on Display Contents, everything is ok, the cyrillic characters are correctly displayed. But when I export to pdf, the cyrilic characters are not displayed properly.

When creating the printing job, I tried selecting for the output device LOCR instead of LOCL, but the problem persists.

Does anyone knows what could be the problem?

Hello Nick,

Pls refer to the note 1606050 and check the below if fulfilled in your system.

1.The form must have a language key RU.

2. The fonts used in the form must be Russian fonts like COURCYR, TIMECYR and HELVCYR.

3. True type fonts that support Russian characters must be uploaded into the SAP system

  under font familes COURCYR, TIMECYR  and HELVCYR.

If you are using the Unicode device type for example SWINCF,pls refer to the note 1606076.
