Error Item category

Hello Experts,

I do not know why SAP does not complete " item category" by default when i click entry, since Article I created is of type NLAG !!

Have you made default item category in below config

Plant Maintenance and Customer ServicePlant Maintenance and Customer Service-Maintenance and Service Processing-Maintenance and Service Orders-General Data-Define Default Values for Component Item Categories

I have set this setting in config and the item category still does not default.

Also, I have set PID LAG and VGN and they do not work in the transaction also.  I am using CO02 and adding a component to the production order.

Please advise what is wrong.
