Change base PL of consensusdemand key figure

Hi,

We have a requirement where we need to change the base planning level of consensusdemand key figure from PERPRODCUST to PERPRODCUSTDC (DC = Distribution channel).

Keeping aside MDT and PL modifications, will supply planning (SAP4 in IBP 4.0.1.4) respect consensusdemand@PERPRODCUSTDC?

Hi Aditya,

Not 100% sure, but I would say CONSENSUSDEMAND has to stay in the PERPRODCUST level for the SCM Operator to work.

What I would do is to create CONSENSUSDEMAND2@PERPRODCUSTDC and once the consensus demand planning is done, use the copy operator to populate the CONSENSUSDEMAND@PERPRODCUST (you will have to use the copy and not the aggregation, as the scm operator will not work if the key figures are at different planning level, so

CONSENSUSDEMAND@PERPRODCUST = SUM(CONSENSUSDEMAND2@PERPRODCUSTDC)

will not work with the SCM Operator)

Anyway, if you find out that is possible to change the bpl of the consensusdemand key figure and the scm operator keeps working, please let us know.
