Is there a mechanism where we can get the status of channel (error/error free) though a web service call to PI

Similar to what we have for messages (AdapterMessageMonitorVi using wsnavigator)

I have found following webservices in wsnavigator but they are not providing runtime status of the channel

Any idea how we can get this status
