I was unable to get the KPI for Bdoc monitoring.

Our managed is is on the latest ST A/PI01R_731

Solution manager is on SP12.

Kindly let me know why the Standard KPI is not listed.

Hi Subhashini.

I suspect, monitor definition is not yet loaded in to SolMan or releant coding in managed system is not yet active due to missing the operation in RTCCTOOL (procedure perform adter add-on).

SAP Note 2128808 describe a step "load monitor in BPMon setup" and "RTCCTOOL operation in managed system". So please check whether you miss this operation.

Hi Kejji,

I have loaded the monitoring objects twice, once during the basic setuo and again done the activity.

in BAsic setup for the managed system , all the steps are in green.

So got confused in this.

Kindly guide on how to proceed.

Thanks,

Subhashini

Hi Subhashini

Let me double check, is following 2 points fulfilled ?

In Managed system RTCCTOOl, do you select "BPM: Prepare Business Process Analysis & Monitoring ?" in check scope ? (If you look at result screen of RTCCTOOL, there is a area called setting. Please make sure BPM is selected in the setting").

Also please check, Add on & Upgrade Procedure shows green status in RTCCTOOL.

Hi Kejji,

we have checked in Managed system as well.

Addon and upgrade package is in green status .

but still we are not getting the Bdoc monitoring KPI.

Kindly suggest the cause of the issue.

Thanks,

Subhashini.

Hi Subhashini

Let me double check 1 thing.

Does your managed system CRM ? BDoc is relevant for CRM. So if your managed system is not a CRM, I assume corresponding data collection coding might be comment out like below.

So even you conduct load monitor, BDOC monitor will not be loaded into SolMan.

So it is not visible.

Report /SSA/EIM

*FORM EIM_DC_IMBDOCMO

*  PERFORM BDOCMO_COLLECTOR

If your managed system is CRM, then the coding should be active. So it should be visible.

Just let me double check, for what kind of system you try to configure BDCO monitor

Hi Kejji,

thanks for your reply....

our Managed system is a SRM system...

Do you want me to check whether the report is active?

Kindly advice...

thanks,

Subhashini.

HI Subhashini

if it is SRM why do you try to use BDoc monitor ?

I know CRM uses BDoc and SRM uses qRFC (PI in some scenario).

so I wonder why you use BDoc for SRM

Are you sure BDoc is used in your scenario?

HI Kejji,

Bodcs are used by the customer ...

The requirements came from the customer only....

So Is it not possible to have the Bdoc KPi ?

Kindly advice.

thanks,

Subhashini.

Hi Subhashini

At the moment, coding seems comment out. So not sure whether it is intended.

So I recommend to create SAP incident to check whether it can be become avaialble.

Hi Subhashini,

When you load monitor definitions all the possible KPIs are fetched from managed systems.

So if your Load Monitor definitions is complete without any errors then you will see all the KPIs available for monitoring for that system.

SRM systems do not use Bdocs.
