Hi,
I am performing Soap to proxy scenario and got stuck in ID part.
Sender : Non SAP System :SOAP
Receiver: SAP System(ECC):Proxy
What should be receiver channel configuration when it comes to choosing adapter
and most imortantly how should i move further in Addressing type ? it should be URL address or HTTP Destination
If its URL Address what should be the URL Address or if its HTTP Destination
for which fields should i need to provide the values and how to find the same ?
Hello Vikram,
You can either use HTTP destination or URL address. HTTP destination one is the preferred method. For the reason why, you can see my reply in the below mentioned thread -
The details you need to enter in the HTTP destination to be created can be obtained from the below link -

Hi Edu,
Yes i have used XI adapter type in receiver channel but i dont know how to proceed further...
i.e i want to know what exactly do i need to choose in Addressing Type ?
1) URL or 2) HTTP Destination.
If URL is choose d what values needs to be given in Target URL ? or if
HTTP Destination is used what needs to be given in HTTP Destination field ?
Here its Soap to Proxy Scenario...
Sender : Non SAP System :SOAP
Receiver: SAP System(ECC):Proxy
Hi Vikram,
i want to know what exactly do i need to choose in Addressing Type ?
1) URL or 2) HTTP Destination.
Technically both are same there is nothing much difference in these except the way of doing.
If you go for URL type, then you need to mention in the channel itself.
If you go for HTTP Destination, then you need to go RFC destination and create a new destination of type of H, and mention the parameters in it. You need to mention this RFC destination in your channel.
For PI version >7.11, you need to use SOAP adapter for proxy communication. Prior to this version, you need to use XI adapter.
