SAP Sourcing 10: High Level Architecture Design

Hello Experts,

I am working on designing a SAP Sourcing 10 Envrionment. Operating System choosen: IBM Flex Envrionment with RHEL. Database: Oracle 11g

I understood from Master Guide that NW 7.31 SP05 is required as pre-requiste and Netweaver and SAP Sourcing should have different databases.

I have below query related to High Level Architecture design and need to your expert advise.

1. Can we have this approach:

On 1 machine, we can have SAP NW 7.31 SP05 and Sourcing Application.

On another machine, we can NW database and Sourcing database. Both databases are installed seperately on same host.

Is this a feasible approach? Please advise, if anything else is much more fesible.

That approach would be fine.
