Could anyone please tell me that how to derive 0calmonth from 0calday?

Hi Cherry,

When you map from 0CALDAY (From Source) to OCALMONTH(To Target) , it will get the Calmonth information automatically.

I want to perform the partition on the cube but my data source contain 0calday. So I want derive 0calmonth from the 0calday.

Hi Cherry,

First add the 0CALMONTH field in the Info Cube.

Then in the transformation please map from 0CALDAY to 0CALMONTH, then perform the data load. Now you can see the Data related to the Calendar month like 01.2015, 02.2015 in the Info Cube.

Next you can create Partitions on top of Info Cube based on the Info Object 0CALMONTH.

You can map calday to calmonth directly, system will automatically perform calmonth if not work

routine for calmonth(YYYYMMDD)

result = source_fields-calday+0(6).
