MOPZ EHP7 Ready System installation

Dear experts,

We plan to install SAP ERP6.0 EHP7 ready system with EA_HR & SAP_HR in EHP7 release, and not 600 release (default version after installation of ERP6 EHP7).

In Solman MOPZ, we have only the possiblity to uprade an existing system.

Is there any solution to prepare SAP EHP7 installation with Solman MOPZ to define exactly the release version of some SAP Addon, like EA_HR & SAP_HR ?

Install an SAP system, connect to LMDB and then do. That is how MOPZ works.

Hello,

The installation of an EHP7 ready system does not require Maintenance Optimizer .

Adjusting the technical usages and CLCs can be done later through Maintenance Optimizer.

So, at first, you only need to install the EHP7-ready system.

As i understand there is no way to install ehp7 ready system with SAP_HR in EHP7 level without upgrading the system via Solman?

Hello,

I think we are saying the same thing in different words.

To make sure we are on the same page:

- You first install the EHP7 ready system with the media from the SAP Service Marketplace .

- After that, you run Maintenance Optimizer and choose the technical usages you want on your system

- The technical usage that installs SAP_HR would be Human Capital Management. You install that through MOPZ and then you are done.
