How to enable web directory listing

Former Member

Hi,

when I enter a directory path on the SAP WAS in my browser without a correct reference to a jsp- or html-file SAP WAS gives me the following message:

<i> 403 Forbidden

You are not authorized to view the content of the requested directory.

Details: Directory listing is not allowed on this server.</i>

How is it possible to allow directory listing for an application or path on the server?

Any help will be appreciated!

Mirko

Hi,

You can enable this using the J2EE Engine Visual Administrator tool. Start the tool from the /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/j2ee/admin directory -> go script and connect it to the J2EE Engine. Choose Server <n> -> Services -> HTTP Provider and then select the Directory List check-box.

Best regards,
