Different Approval process based on Account Assignment

Hello experts,

We are working on SRM 7 with ECC 6 as backend system.

We are using Process Controlled Workflow and activated line item level approvers.

Requirement is to have different approvers based on different Account Assignment Distribution.

For example:

We have one line item in SC, which has Account Assignment Distributed between 2 WBS.

We want to have different approvers for these 2 distributions.

Is it possible?

As per my understanding, PCW for SC is at Header/Item level and we cannot further drill down the approval process based on Account Assignment.

Please suggest.

Hi Shyam,

Your requirement is standard business need and can be implemented via parallel approval, you will need to assign the right agent based on your business logic in BAdi implementation /SAPSRM/BD_WF_RESP_RESOLVER.

You can go though the standard help for Parallel Approval with Overlapping Responsibility functionality:
