There was an error in mapping on the Fiori designer. Was not specified the alias application. Thank you very much!

Hello! I have a similar problem. You managed to find the solution?

Hi Ivan,

I assume you had the issue while trying to create custom tiles to open web gui from the Launchpad. The issue was resolved after creating rfc to backend using naming convention <SID>_HTTP and I used the created rfc name as system alias in the LPD_CUST.

Thank you for your reply.

I have a similar thing in another. I have configured to launch an SAP transaction using "SAP GUI for HTML" application and it works fine with system alias. When I try to access the WDA application with the same system alias, I get the error:

Error (500, Internal Server Error) in OData response for GET "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/INTEROP/ResolveLink?linkId='SOAManagement-display'&shellType='FLP'&formFactor='desktop'": HTTP request failed.

I tried various options settings for HTTP RFC system alias, but no results.

Hi Ivan,

Another item that you can do for investigation is to perform httpwatch trace. You can share the trace here for further discussion.

Hi Ivan,

I tried to open the file but the content is unreadable character. I suggest send to me the file in hwl format.

Thanks and Best Regards

When I attach a file in hwl format I get the message "The content type of this attachment is not allowed." I placed the file in a ZIP archive and added TXT extension.

Hi Ivan,

I able to open the httpwatch trace file and noticed the behavior. It something like it just hanging after you clicked on the tiles. From the IWFND error log, I noticed that there is error message about intent. Normally the mapping on the Fiori designer with the properties in the LPD_CUST is not correct. Here is the example :

Error says "Intent SOAManagement-display not resolved"

That means that problem is with Target Mapping.

Can you show the target mapping in Launchpad designer, and also the config you did in LPD_CUST?

Also ensure that there are no duplicate entries for Intent SOAManagement-display

Hi Krishna,

Here is the config in the LPD_CUST :

The target mapping in Fiori Designer :

Yes, there is no duplicate entries for Intent SOAManagement-display

You are missing "Application Alias" in LPD_CUST.

Hi Krishna,

Can we put any value to the Application Alias in the LPD_CUST ?

Thanks and Best Regards

It has to be from Target Mapping. "SOAManagement"
