AS java export issue

Hi All,

I am trying to perform Central instance export in java (Portal) system and facing the below issue. Please help me on fix this issue.  Also database up and running fine.

java version "1.6.0"

You need to  check the sapnote http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1724516

sdm changeauthenticationprotocol “version=2.0” “password=<…>” “forcesecurelogon=enable” “encrypttraffic=enable” “adminportonlylocallyaccessible=enable” “forcesecureadminlogon=enable”

The above command will only work if you have java SPS 28 or 29.

Otherwise , you will not able to take the export of java system unless and until you run the above

command.

If you receive the error , as unknown command , then you need to apply the java patches.

What is the version of JAVA that you are running ?

Quickly check if you are able to logon to configtool and password are maintained correctly in securestore.

If that if fine, the share the logs which are highlighted above.

I do understand that you are not able to stop SDM. However, did you read SAP note - 1724516 ?

Goto y /usr/sap/<SID>/<Instance>/SDM/program

and then execute below command

sdm changeauthenticationprotocol “version=2.0” “password=<Give SDM command>” “forcesecurelogon=enable” “encrypttraffic=enable” “adminportonlylocallyaccessible=enable” “forcesecureadminlogon=enable”

This is what the system is asking to do.

Now, if you don't have the password, use the above to links to reset the SDM password and update.

Once that is done.

You have to run the above command again.

Please try this

Kill sdm process. Check what GUI port is used by SDM process. Open sdmrepository.sdc and search for section <GuiPort> </GuiPort>. Use netstat -ano | findstr <guiport>. Use taskkill /PID <processid> to kill the process.

have you tried using JCMON to stop SDM process

Stop SDM using jcmon tool

1. Start jcmon pf=<J2EE Instance profile>
2. Type 20 (Local Administration Menu)

select process to be stopped accordingly.

As ram told you, please once again check your DB is up and running..??

Because log file which you shared, we found that database connection error. Also share UTL_load_usage.log.

Also whats the version of your AS JAVA system.

2ndly from the error log can see that below issue is there.

So request you to chekc your DB is up and running.

also can you paste the UTL_load_usages.log' here.

Also one more thing is check in your configtool for the SAPSR3DB user and java administrator passwords are updated &  which are latest and working in the secstore.

Update us with your further findings.
