Hi,
Please guide me on below issue.
If i create a Maintenance order and add components that are not there in stock, sysytem status is showing as Material shortage. I will just save the order and close it. In the mean time stock will be received for the same component. Now if i open the order and close it, system have to check the real time availability of material and the status have to be changed to Material commited. this is not happenening, i even checked by clicking the material availability check manually. Please suggest how to proceed.
Regards,
Kartik
Hi
Thanks for your response. The situation is that, all the materials of the plant are kept under restricted i.e willbe assigned to a WBS or project.

Hi Karthik,
Can you please check the OPJJ and OIOI. This controls your Availability check.
Particularly "Indicator for type of component check"

Hi Kartik,
I dont think this should impact. But doing a testing with the similar setting does not make much time for you.
But you need to check the whether the checking rule 02 is maintained in material master.
If the checking rule is not maintained, system will give a Non-Availability message with status "Mat.availability not checked" in work order. This means, your availability check is working perfectly, but the material is not assigned with checking rule.

Terence
Hi Kartik,
Check you spro setting for
SAP Standard checking rule 01 is for Dail requirement & 02 for individual req.
You need adjust these rule and assign to Plant & Order Type combination.
