Hello All,
I would like to host the SAPUILandscapeGlobal.xml configuration file on our Solution Manager landscape, in order to share it using a http service.
Has anyone in this community already followed this route, and could provide guidance on how to best set this up, and what pitfalls should be avoided ?
Thanks !

Now that is a cool idea. Using the LMDB as a source for generating a xml-structure on the fly.
Weve looked into that, unfortunately not all our systems (due to acquisitions and joint ventures) are not in one Solution manager. Hence we created a standalone database and generates a server part of message servers and let the user use an application to select which systems to add to their personal sapuilandscape.xml.
I can recommend looking into the message servers hosted on a central server for simple management. No more adjusting sapmsg.ini or etc/services.
And if you do that and you only have load balanced servers you could use the dropdown function to let your users select which systems to add.
