Error when customer data is sent to Cloud for customer via PI from ERP

Hi Team,

Scenario : Integration of ERP and Cloud for customer via SAP PI.

" Error while processing inbound third party communication " - This error is displayed in C4C when customer details (DEBMAS_CFS) are sent from ERP to Cloud for Customer via SAP Process Integration. I have checked the Service interface " BusinessPartnerERPReplicationIn " and could not find any error. I have verified the PI configuration too.

Could you please let me know your suggestions if i am missing anything .

Select message in error, go up-right, select View-->Error Log and paste here all info you find there.

Hi,

Check if the Account Number range defined in C4C is till valid or exhausted..Go to fine tunning activities and check the number range.

Fine-Tuning > General Business Partners > Number Ranges for Business Partners


Verify that you have still the number range free, where Accounts are not created in C4C. You can check from ID mapping for the latest number/account Id (Internal ID) used for creation of account in C4C.

Please find the screen shot for the number ranges for general business partners.

In ID Mapping there is no free number range available for account creation.

Could you please let me know if the number range can be increased and how can it be done ?

Hi Raghuram,

you should be able to edit those ranges

please make sure the fine tune activity " General Business Partners" is not closed, adn if it is open it in order to edit it.

I requested my admin to increase the number range and it should resolve the issue.

Hi Raghuram,


please share the error details, you can go to Web Service Message Monitoring, choose one of the messages with application error en then click on "View" then "error log" this will give you more details of what is failing.


if you have a web service message in error , this means that the webservice call was made from PI to C4C, so at least there is communication, it is more likely some mapping issue, you can find that in the error log details.

In the Web Service Message Monitoring the error log shows "Error while processing inbound third party communication" . Please find the attached screen shot for the same.

I have sent  basic customer information to C4C.

Could you please let me know where can i see the error log in brief other than web service message monitoring.
