User locked in java stack and available in ABAP stack PI 7.0

Hello Experts,

I have a strange issue here , I am able to login to PI production on ABAp stack , execute transactions.

But i try to login to rwb/sld it throws an error saying authenticaion failed and for soem users it shows user locked.

I login to the abap stack to check this , and surprisingly I am able to login again.

I have been trying all users pisuper , pirwbuser etc

no luck

Can anyone share their thoughts on this?

How does the communication actually happen between abap and java stack for user authentication?

Hi Ravi,

Depending of your configuration you can have an user locked in the java stack and not in the ABAP stack.

If you are using a PI service use the password changing is more complicated that to change it only in su01 transaction: 936093 - XI 7.0: Change to passwords of XI service users

Please check the attached document in this note 1493272 - A user gets locked automatically

Regards.

Hello Inaki,

Every user is locked in Java stack and unlocked in abap stack.

I have asked the basis team to create the location in visual admin , will check this as well.

Regards,

Ravi
