ADS Error - Invalid http Connection ADS

Dear All

We have developed a Adobe Form and when I try to activate it says  "Invalid http Connection ADS".

To Configure ADS in the Server,

Is Portal is mandatory ?

Do we need any license?

To have a ADS AS JAVA/portal instance with NW 7.4 Components  do we need any license. ?

Can someone help me by providing guidelines.

Hello Venkateswaran,

If you are looking at Interactive Adobe forms then Java is required.

Some customers might not have java based system. In that case you can always use your existing solution manager system which is Dual stack and ADS destination. Route ABAP ADS connection to Solution manager Java stack.

Which can be used for Interactive Adobe forms.

There are lot of links which guide ADS configuration.

During configuration Adobe reader license is required which is free and will be sent once you raise a request  as described in most of the configuration documents.
