sap srm roles - when to use each

dear experts

i'd like to ask for your inputs on which scenario to use below different "versions" of SRM roles:

_EHP1,

_ERPSRM,

_ERP_EHP1,

_ERPSRM_EHP1 etc

What I know for sure is combining these roles to a single userID will result to some issues.

Hello,

What I can confirm is that role /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE_EHP1 is relevant only for Simplified Shopping Cart functionality.
This functionality is available as of EHP1 for SRM 7.0. Please, read note 1640397 for more details.

Roles which have the *ERP* are usually used when you have the harmonized roles, which means that you can access ECC documents from SRM portal, for example.

The scenario we have is actually accessing SRM transactions via ECC NWBC. so right now we're having issues on nwbc links calling incorrect transactions compared to what's suggested by the menu texts.

anyone who has an idea how this can be made possible?
