cross-company code cost accounting same client

Dear Co Expert,

My Company wants to create new companies in the same production client. Those companies will share same CO perimeter (9200) so that companies have same charts of accounts, same fiscal year variant and same currenc. 9200 CO perimeter is cross-company code.

CO perimeter 1000 wich is cross-company already exists in production client.

So my question is : can we have 2 different cross-company codes in same production client ?

Hi Sami,

If I understand your question correctly, the answer to your question is Yes. You can have n number of company codes and cross company codes in the same system. You need to configure cross company code postings for the document type and clearing accounts in OBYA.

Hello Prasad,

to be more precise we have this configuration in our production system :

1/ cross company codes 1 already exists whith chart of accounts "PC10", currency type "10", currency "EUR" and fiscal year variant "Z4"

2/ we want to create cross company codes 2 whith SAME chart of accounts "PC10", SAMEcurrency type "10",  SAME currency "EUR" and its own fiscal year variant "ZE"

Is this configuration possible ?
